CA 2E / CA Plex Conference Partner Sessions are stronger than ever this year, with some familiar names and a few new ones that represent the forefront of modern technology (think RPA). We thank the community for their input and feedback, and especially our partners for assembling great content.

In grand tradition, Dheeraj Pershad, Principal Product Manager at Broadcom, will present the Roadmap for CA 2E and CA Plex to kick off the conference. Be sure to tune in to the sponsor introductions that follow Dheeraj’s talk to get an overview of the great Partner Sessions throughout the Virtual Conference.

CM First’s presence will be felt throughout the conference, with opportunities to work directly with CM First products. 2E developers can join Mark Schroeder as he deploys RESTful Web Services and automates it with CM Matchpoint. Eric Giron will show CA Plex developers how CM MatchPoint can help to achieve automated DevOps, diving in to source and object management, web application deployment, and web service deployment.

IBM experts will lead a session on modern security threats with a special emphasis on a how to defeat them with IBM technology.

Abacus will join us in the IBM i Cloud Rehosting / Managed Services session. In this session a cloud replatforming expert will discuss how IBM i applications are typically being rehosted from on-premise to cloud or hybrid environments along with the savings and operational improvements they experience. Real Life Case studies will be presented.

HelpSystems will introduce basic Robotic Process Automation concepts with each attendee getting access to work with the Automate RPA tool live. Build your own bots in this session as you walk through User exercises or try building your own ideas.

NextGen’s NGS provides a powerful alternative to Query400 and they will show us the way in the IBM i Reporting session. This hands on workshop will show you how to create great looking reports on IBM i data with NextGen’s modern reporting tool.

Partner Axon Ivy hosts Robotic Process Automation vs Digital Process Automation. Both Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Digital Process Automation (DPA) have the potential to make business processes smarter and more efficient, in very different ways. Both have significant advantages over traditional IT implementations. In this session Marcel Pruegel and Tim Harris will look at these two technologies and how they can be combined to reach higher value.
