If you missed the Worldwide Developer Conference held in Chicago two weeks ago, all of them are now available on the Conference Website: http://www.plex2e.com. Many of the conference session presentations are also available for download in the Document Library of the CA Plex/2E Global User Community site.  Due to file size restrictions not all of the sessions from the event will be available here.

Community Polls and Message Boards

Don’t forget to make the CA Plex/2E Global User Community site one of your frequent online stops!  Some of the immediate value-add functions include:

-          It’s the most effective way to ensure your voice is heard when it comes to knowledge sharing, idea gathering and product ideas! 

-          It’s the only way to regularly receive ongoing news and information on the products, on events both online and in person, and to reach the community on a daily basis.

-          Many people solve their own product issues and gain valuable tips simply by monitoring and posting on the message board, which is visited by many users from around the world every day!

-          Don’t forget to cast your vote on our community polls, located on the left side of the community homepage.  Currently as promised there is a question about which US-based location you would like to see a 6^th Worldwide Plex/2E User Conference held.  Make sure your voice is heard! 

CA Idea Vision Is In Our Community!

The Idea Vision tool is up and running in our community. We have a great start as many of our community members who attended the event (and others who were not able to) have begun posting their product ideas and requests.  Keep them coming! 

Idea Vision is an easy way for you to share and enter your product requests and ideas with the entire community along with CA product management and development.  Perhaps more importantly, everyone is encouraged to go out and vote on which ideas you believe should be a priority

Product request prioritization and feedback gathering is now an “ongoing” program in our user community, rather than gathering this feedback only once every other year or so.

If you’re receiving this message you have successfully registered for at least one pre-conference education workshop as part of your attendance at this week’s 5^th CA 2E/Plex Worldwide Developers Conference. 

The majority of our attendees have pre-registered for what is considered by many to be hands-down the most valuable part of the entire event.  We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to have a great lineup of these workshops. 

This year we are trying something different than in previous years – offering more half-day workshops with a wider variety of topics as opposed to a handful of full day hands-on sessions.  This helped to include more people and ensure that most everyone found a workshop of specific interest to them, whether they are a 2E or Plex user.  As a result we have more people signed up for these workshops than ever before. 

I want to ask once again that all workshop attendees who are planning to participate hands-on with a personal laptop computer to please make every effort to come to the session prepared in advance.  The less time we spend configuring laptops at the beginning of the workshops, the more value they will provide to everyone. 

Please see the below schedule with a link to the pre-con requirements if you have not had a chance to do this yet (IMPORTANT: For session TR1 there is a link to a pre-release software testing agreement you must agree to the terms for in order to participate.  There are still a handful of attendees who have yet to do this; please take care of this if you would like to participate hands-on).  Only TR1 has the requirement for any click-on agreements; the other five sessions do not.
