For Fort Lauderdale 2009, sponsor Desynit has created a mobile application which attendees can use to view the agenda and send feedback on their favourite presentations. Any last minute agenda changes and dining / social events will be updated on this site / application.

What tools and technologies did Desynit use to drive these applications?  Plex of course! Both the mobile browser and the native iPhone application are talking to a Plex generated .Net WCF web service using SOAP messages.  Plex Java client for the maintenance suite.

Browser application:

Suitable for smartphones and mobile devices.  Works just as well on a regular PC too.

iPhone application:

Download over the air from the iTunes App Store. This is a native iPhone application that can also be used with an iTouch player which has a wi-fi connection.
